Events and Activities

Moving to a new country can be a very exciting but also a very difficult thing to do. Eastman Immigrant Services holds various events and activities to help you make new friends and start to make this community feel like your home.
EIS always appreciates any help we can get! Volunteer to help out at our community events.

Upcoming Events

  • Culturama - April 28, 12-9pm. A cultural festival presenting traditional folk dances and free food samples, international crafts and much more. Free Admission! Culturama will be held at the 55Plus Centre, Steinbach

  • Pub Quiz- monthly event at Frantz Motor Inn. See events calendar for more details.

  • Get Active  - a free fitness program for women and teens. Wednesdays from 7:15 - 8:15pm starting Feb 1st at the Woodlawn School Gym.
  • Parenting Group for Women in Southoaks School, Grunthal (Low German)  March 8, 22@ 6:30pm

  • Men's Family Group for Men in Southoaks School, Grunthal (Low German)  March 8, 22 @ 6:30pm
