What Your Day Will Look Like:
• Supporting the development of a global health and safety program through research, audits, and data collection.
• Assisting with health and safety employee orientation sessions.

Maintenance Technician

Job summary
The Production Line Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. This role plays a critical part in supporting production goals, food safety standards, and overall plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventative maintenance on bottling, filling, capping, labeling, and packaging equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Repair and replace defective parts, motors, sensors, belts, conveyors, and control systems
• Respond quickly to production line breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Collaborating with production supervisors and quality control teams
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in any position where your help might be required.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or bottling environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLC systems is a plus
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Knowledge of food & beverage manufacturing standards preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment

Production Operator

Job Summary
We are a growing soft drink bottling company seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate is flexible, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn how to operate all machines along the production line. This role is essential to ensuring efficient production, quality standards, and workplace safety.

Remote Freelance Interpreter Over the Phone

CanTalk is a Canadian language services provider offering real-time interpretation in 200+ languages. We are expanding our network of remote freelance interpreters across Manitoba to support newcomers, service providers, and community members.

As a Remote Interpreter, you will provide interpretation services by phone on a flexible schedule — logging in when you want, choosing on-call availability windows, and accepting pre-booked interpretation calls. Interpreters work remotely and decide their own availability.

What work will I be doing?

Census jobs require employees to go door to door to obtain completed questionnaires. Pay is $25.87 per hour for enumerators (non-supervisory positions) and $31.32 per hour for crew leaders (supervisory positions), plus authorized expenses.

  • The primary responsibility of enumerators is to collect completed census questionnaires from households.
    • Enumerators must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on average, as determined by workload, with the majority of the work completed in the evenings and on weekends.
    • Responsibilities include collecting data from respondents in person through door-to-door visits.
    • Enumerators receive hourly compensation and are eligible to claim authorized expenses, such as mileage and parking.
    • The employment period runs from May 2026 to July 2026, depending on the position and location.
  • The primary responsibilities of crew leaders are to lead and supervise an assistant and a team of enumerators. They are responsible for all activities related to the collection of completed census questionnaires in their assigned area.
    • Crew leaders must be available for full-time work (40 hours per week), including days, evenings, and weekends.
    • They supervise, train, and motivate a team of enumerators conducting in-person, door-to-door visits. Crew leaders work closely with their assistants to complete these tasks.
    • Crew leaders receive hourly compensation and are eligible to claim authorized expenses, such as mileage and parking.
    • The employment period runs from March 2026 to July 2026, depending on the position and location.

Remote contract interpreters provide on-demand phone interpretation in multiple languages. Flexible hours, work from home, and support clients through three-way calls. Applicants must be fluent in required languages and reliable.

Cantalk is a Winnipeg-based Language Service Company with over 25 years of experience offering interpretation, translation, and customer & technical support services across Canada.

We are currently seeking interpreters fluent in multiple languages to join our remote network. Interpreters will receive calls to their phones as needed — they can log in whenever convenient and work as many hours as they choose. As contractors, they will be prioritized for incoming client calls when logged in. Alternatively, they can stay on-call (without being logged in) and be available during chosen time frames — with no obligation if unable to answer. We also offer scheduled (pre-booked) interpreting calls. All calls are three-way or conference calls involving simultaneous interpretation.
