Inside Sales Representative

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to take over all account management responsibilities. A successful candidate will focus on managing existing key accounts as well as bringing on new customers. An ideal candidate is a sales-oriented professional who values productivity, direct customer engagement, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily contact with customers, sales representatives and the carrier sales team to aid in negotiating transportation rates and mode.
  • Provide consistent and exceptional service levels to all customers.
  • Accept, create and update orders on Transportation Management Software.
  • Track and Trace all freight related to assigned accounts.
  • Utilize carrier analytics and other internal resources to make informed rating decisions.
  • Provide timely updated to customers and solicit business from assigned accounts.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer, the operations department and senior management to ensure all parties understand the requirements and adhere to established timelines.
  • Oversee and lead the implementation of key action items to deliver ROI for the customer.
  • Offer creative service solutions to the customer.

 

Experience:

  • Transportation sales or account management experience required.
  • Asset-based and/or brokerage experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to adapt and utilize new software systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Your days will include:
• Shadowing the Finance/Accounting team to gain insights into their operations.
• Performing accounting functions such as voucher entry and receipt processing.
• Conducting general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Generating reports to support financial analysis and decision-making.
• Entering data from multiple sources into various systems.
• Handling reconciliations of projects and work-in-progress (WIP).
• Managing administrative tasks including scanning, filing, and other duties.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• Current enrollment in a university or college Business program.

Print Studio One and Three-Six North Marketing partners with clients to build their brands across
physical and digital platforms, connecting people to products and services that enrich their lives.

 

This is a key position, responsible for communicating with our clients, entering order details for
production, pricing and invoicing orders when complete.

 

Who You Are:
• Enjoy working in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to listen, understand and serve our customers.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Attention to detail, creative problem solving, quick learner, ability to multitask, highly organized.
• Strong computer skills with a desire to learn new software.
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience considered an asset.
• Understanding of print and sign-making process considered an asset.

 

Responsibilities:
• Create a positive first impression with our clients by responding to inquiries and maintaining
great relationships, both on the phone and in our office.
• Gather information and clearly communicate details to and from our clients, working with our
team to come up with creative solutions – tracking job details with software.
• Price and invoice projects using our estimating and accounting software. Previous experience
with Sage 50 or QuickBooks considered an asset.
• Receive payments and process Accounts Receivable.
