About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Services, the Coordinator is responsible for overall management of services at Kindale Industries, meeting the mission and values of enVision Community Living to promote the equality, inclusion, and the value of all people. Kindale Industries is part of enVision Community Living that supports people living with an intellectual disability to develop their vocational and social skills. The team at Kindale Industries operates a full-scale production facility, including warehouse space and ability to handle up to semi-trailer deliveries.

This senior leadership position is responsible for selecting, supervising, guiding, and developing managers, including evaluating their performance and guiding them to achieve their best work and the best work of their team(s). In addition, the coordinator is responsible to develop and manage services, carry out strategic plans, be actively involved in networking and planning, as well as the administration and the ongoing evaluation of services.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Disability & Community Support, Disability Studies, Social Sciences, or Business Administration preferred. Combination of education and experience will also be considered
Minimum three (3) of demonstrated leadership in a supervisory/management position
Experience providing supports for persons who live with an intellectual disability is an asset
Proven ability to problem-solve and make decisions in order to achieve goals
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Understanding of Safety & Health related matters in a production facility setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Case Management Platform
Experience in Human Services Field is an asset
Experience in a production warehouse setting is an asset
Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
Valid Manitoba Class 5F License and access to vehicle required

Additional Information

Hours of Work: 80 hours bi-weekly; Monday-Friday. Availability to be contacted after hours in case of emergency. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.
Working Environment: 100% On-site
This position requires satisfactory Criminal Record check with a clear Vulnerable Sector Search, clear Adult & Child Abuse Registry Checks, and CPR First Aid Certificate

Your days will include:
Shift Varies: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM | 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Monday-Friday
• Managing Wash Bay Staff including employee relations, WCB matters, and injury reports.
• Scheduling personnel shifts and coordinating equipment shunting.
• Ensuring timely and accurate washing and baking of trailers.
• Reassembling trailers and equipping them for the next load.
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Biosecurity Protocols.
• Collaborating and communicating with Dispatch and Maintenance.
• Scheduling and invoicing for washes, updating wash lists, reporting, and performing general maintenance.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• High school diploma preferred
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
• Wash Bay experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional organization and self-motivation
• Ability to work independently and be an effective team player
