We are now registering students for Term 2 of our English classes, which will start on November 4. English for Work classes are an introduction to Canadian culture and language. Lessons include listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities to assist you in improving your language skills.

All students must take a placement assessment before joining a class. This assessment is only for placing you in the right class at Eastman Immigrant Services. It is not an official test for your CLB level.

The following Fall classes will be held at our second office, located at B1-275 Main Street in Steinbach on the days listed. Pre-registration is required. To register please email english@eastmanis.com

6:30 PM – 8:30 PM: Pronunciation 1 (CLB 4+)

Registration in our English classes is reserved for newcomers living in Manitoba. Our English courses are free for Canadian citizens and people living in Manitoba on a study permit, work visa, CUEAT, or as a refugee or permanent resident. You will need a client number to register. If you do not have a client number, please call our office at 204-346-6609 or stop by in person at D4-284 Reimer Avenue to get one. You will be given a card with your number for future use if you are a current client or an intake appointment will be set up if you need to be registered.
