Responsibilities:

– Dive into concrete projects, including lifting, leveling, void filling, underslab insulation, and concrete removal/replacement
– Perform essential general labor tasks like job site setup, equipment handling, and ongoing maintenance of equipment and shop facilities
– Carefully follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring each project meets the highest standards
– Engage with clients on-site, offering friendly assistance and addressing questions professionally
– Take advantage of cross-training in spray foam insulation with our Cold Country Spray Foam division for added skills and versatility
– Be flexible and ready for on-call shifts, jumping in as project demands require

Qualifications:

– Valid driver’s license and proficiency in English
– Preferred background in construction, concrete, farming, landscaping, or similar fields
– Physical capability to lift/carry up to 80 pounds and work in diverse conditions
– Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow in your role
– A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a can-do attitude that thrives in a team environment
– Positive communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions effectively and maintain clear, respectful communication with supervisors, team leaders, and clients

Class 1 Driver

To transport assets safely and efficiently, complying with traffic regulations and ensuring the team and customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.

Transport goods: Load and unload products, machines, ensuring they are handled properly with little to no help on a Tilt deck or Felling Trailer. It is important to understand proper load placement. Capable of long-distance trucking and hauling over-dimensional loads, Provides low bedding services.
Hauling Tandem
Able to perform winch work
Able to use a jeep and booster when low bedding
Plan routes: Determine the most efficient and safe routes for transport.
Inspect the vehicle: Perform daily checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good condition: pre-trip, post-trip and reports any issues.
Follow regulations: Adhere to all traffic laws and transportation regulations including CN’s.
Maintain records: Keep track of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries.
Communication: Maintain constant communication with the company and customers regarding the status of deliveries.
Handle emergencies: Manage any issues or setbacks on the road safely.
Some others: Refuel the truck and accurately record the fuel usage, ensure that the truck is completely cleaned out at the end of every shift.
Related training or experience operating different types of excavators, mobile shears, material handlers, and other heavy equipment such as wheel loaders would be a definite asset.
